The Crystalline Library was established in December 2019 (Local Time) as a place for adventurers, scholars, and others to read, learn, and eventually became a place of community, resource, and refuge.Created by Ami Athimor after signing several contracts with the Grand Companies and like-minded organizations, the Crystalline Library is one of the biggest collections in Eorzea of both original and reprinted books, spanning from toddler books to adult fiction and non-fiction.So, join us to find your next adventure, whether that be fiction or out in the open world!

We offer a wide selection of children's, fiction, and nonfiction books. While most of our books are translated into Eorzean Common, we have donations and borrowed books from all over the star and beyond. All Books (except local records) are available for checkout.We've also reintroduced three new sections: audiobooks, aetheric/braille books, and local reference (newspaper, city-state legal information, etc.)! Please check the middle bookshelves upstairs for our selection.

Public Rooms

Behind the chambers door is a long hall way with several more additional rooms for browsing and studying...◆ 01 - Quiet Study / Restricted Area
This specific room is designed for quiet studying, though you are allowed as long as you can keep your voice down. In the cabinets behind the counter are books on a variety of topics from other worlds or, shards, as they are usually called.Beyond the iron gates and dragon icons is the Restricted Section-- any materials that may be unsavory information-- voidsent, illegal magicks, and so forth-- and if you want to unlock the cabinets of that section, you'll need permission from our staff to give you the key to open the cabinets.Please come to the front desk for more information and return the key when you are finished.◆ 02 - Directors' Office
Where the two library directors draft contracts, process books, and hold related business meetings. Unlocked at all times for ease of access, but it does primarily belong to Ami and Hikaru.◆ 03 - Guest Dormitories
Designed to be a safe place to sleep for those between homes, visiting from afar, and those who just need a rest away from prying eyes, these curtained rooms come with one bed and a bench, along with a open kitchen and fireplace.Please respect this space or it will be locked for public use.◆ 04 - Multipurpose Room
Designed as a classroom, this space can be also repurposed into a meeting room or other activities as needed by the library and its patrons. Welcome for public and private bookings, but unlocked to the public otherwise.
